Our Story
At the heart of our business is a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to play, learn, and thrive — no matter their circumstances.
We're a family-owned business built on two very different skill sets — one of us is a qualified early childhood teacher with years of experience in early learning, the other an engineer who turned that expertise into the platform you see today. Together, we've created something neither of us could have built alone.
Every activity is thoughtfully designed by a trained educator and built to support children from birth through to 8 years of age.
Our journey began when our daughter was born with a complex medical condition. We were told she may not live beyond the age of four and could face significant developmental challenges.
As a teacher, I instinctively turned to play-based learning to help her build strength and meet her milestones — planning activities, tracking her development, and tailoring everything to where she was at. Through hands-on, purposeful play, she not only developed her skills — she thrived.
Spending long periods in hospital, we witnessed the dedication of doctors, nurses, therapists, and countless healthcare workers who gave their all to support children and families. Equally inspiring were the parents — doing everything they could to bring joy to their children's lives in the most trying circumstances.
It was during these moments that the idea for our business took root.
We created this platform not only to remain present and actively involved in our daughter's life, but also to continue working in the ways we each do best.
Supporting families and children through meaningful play, education, and thoughtful design. Like many parents of children with complex needs, returning to full-time work wasn't a viable option. This business became a way to sustain our family while doing what we love — helping others.
We know from personal experience how isolating and helpless it can feel to watch your child endure medical treatment.
Our goal is to partner with children's hospitals and charities to provide free app access to families during their child's treatment — starting right here in Perth.
Our app includes a dedicated Hospital Mode — a curated collection of bedside-friendly activities designed for small spaces, minimal mess, and low energy. Built from our own experience.
As our business grows, so does our ability to give back. Our long-term goal is to expand free access to every children's hospital in Australia.
