About us
At the heart of our business is a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to play, learn, and thrive — no matter their circumstances. We're a family-owned and operated business, founded by passionate, qualified educators who understand the power of early childhood development. All of our activities are thoughtfully created by trained teachers with years of experience in early learning, to support children from birth through to 8 years of age.
Our journey began when our daughter was born with a complex medical condition. We were told she may not live beyond the age of four and could face significant developmental challenges. As teachers, we instinctively turned to play-based learning to help her build strength and meet her milestones. Through tailored, hands-on activities, she not only developed her skills — she thrived.
Spending long periods in hospital, we witnessed the dedication of doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and countless healthcare workers who gave their all to support children and families. Equally inspiring were the parents — doing everything they could to bring joy to their children’s lives in the most trying circumstances. It was during these moments that the idea for our business took root.
We created this platform not only to remain present and actively involved in our daughter's life, but also to continue working in the profession we love — supporting families and children through meaningful play and education. Like many parents of children with complex needs, returning to full-time work wasn’t a viable option. This business became a way to sustain our family while living our values and helping others.
Our app was born from both passion and necessity. It’s filled with hands-on, engaging activities that promote development, creativity and joy — whether you're at home, at the park, or even bedside in a hospital. We know from personal experience how isolating and helpless it can feel to watch your child endure medical treatment. That’s why we’ve created dedicated hospital-friendly content and provide free access to our app for all children in hospital.
We also proudly give a percentage of every sale to charities that support hospitalised children and their families.
Whether you're a parent looking for play ideas, a teacher, a homeschooler, or someone supporting a child through a medical journey — we hope our resources offer guidance, spark joy, and empower you to create meaningful moments together. Our business has changed our lives, and we hope it makes a difference in yours too.
